Habitat Restoration Specialists, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Habitat Restoration Technician to join our team
HRS is seeking individual(s) to become a part of our team and restoration family.
We would like to take your energy and skills and put them to work in varied locations throughout the tri-county area stretching from Snohomish to Pierce County.
Job Requirements
The crew member(s) will have the following desired qualifications with reasonable accommodations made in order to fulfill the requirements.

Ability to identify, continually learn to ID plants; and understand the native ecology of the Pacific northwest and specifically Western Washington.

Ability to learn non-native plants and how to assess the difference between native or non-native.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Ability to carry 30 pounds over uneven ground for the workday.

Experience operating small engine tools (i.e., brush cutters and hedge trimmers)

Current WSDA Pesticide Applicators license holder or ability to re-certify in a timely manner if holding a license.

Current drivers license holder with the ability to be insured on company truck and a clean driving record

Ability to work alone and/or in a team setting and stay highly driven to complete the days task.

At least one season of restoration experience is desired.
The Details
HRS is based in SeaTac and job days will start and stop at the shop.
Workday will typically be 7:00a - 5:00p Monday-Thursday. (4-10hr shifts)
Two 15-minute paid breaks will be given as well as a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Compensation DOE.
First review will take place 30 days after hiring.
An Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) can be negotiated after 9 months of continued employment at HRS.
